Dick Wallsinger

I was born is Portland, Oregon in #*&##. I attended Wilson High School and from there attended a small private college in Portland- Lewis and Clark, where I majored in Music for two years. After deciding that I did not want to become a band director to a bunch of kids, I transfereed to the University of Oregon, obtaining degrees in Secondary Education and Business.

After graduation I was drafted into the military and chose to enter the Air Force as an officer. I spent my whole career at Keesler Air Force Base teaching basic electronics and transister theory. After my military career(almost 5 years) I went to work for a computer company in Minneapolis teaching the same subjects I taught in the service. I was with Control Data for 20 years working my way up to District Administrative Manager with the Southeast as my territory. When the company went belly up I went to work for Best Buy Stores as a merchandising manager and retired in 2003.

I have three children(including a set of boy/girl twins born on my birthday) and four grandchildren.

I enjoy playing in four bands including the Reinhardt College wind ensemble. Other hobbies are woodworking, golf and reading.

The end.
