John Lauer

Granted a four year saxophone scholarship to Stetson University in 1950-1954. A 4.2 mortar platoon leader in the Panama Canal Zone for two years. Following military service became a band teacher for 32 years. Along the way obtained an M.S. degree and T-6 certificate in music from Fla. State Univ. Taught bands in the public schools of Fla., S.C., Ga., and the Westminster Schools in Atlanta. After retirement, spent 20 plus years as a woodwind repair technician. I am enjoying the opportunity to relax and play with this congenial and friendly group. Helen and I have three grown children and four grandsons of college age.
