Arden Moser

Arden has been involved in music for almost all of his life. He was a high school band musician, a college band musician and received a degree in Music Education in college. He was a also a high school band director in Ottawa, Ohio.

A veteran of WWII and Korea, Arden was first a bandsman, then an airborne ranger where he was in combat in Korea. He became a training non-com with the famed 101st “Screaming Eagles” Airborne Division.

Arden has much experience in jazz and big band work, having traveled with the Glen Gray Casa Loma Orchestra, where he worked in the same trumpet section with his idol, trumpeter Bobby Hackett. He was also with the Frank Marti Latin band at the infamous Villa Venice Night Club in Chicago. He worked in nightclub and show bands throughout the mid-west and played lead trumpet with the Cities Service Road Show band,

Leaving band work, Arden had a career in television, radio, and advertising. He produced and directed sports specials for ESPN and CBS-TV. He also traveled worldwide, producing documentaries. For a ten-year period, Arden was one of the producers of The Protestant Hour programs on national radio. On one of his several working trips into East Africa, Arden recorded what is undoubtedly the largest library of Christian Tribal Music to ever come out of Kenya. He recorded, edited, and processed over 350 music selections for use on Voice of Kenya Radio's Christian broadcasts.

Arden says that he has always lived the young boy's dream. He was a corporate commercial pilot with over 3,000 hours flying time and was multi-engine and instrument rated. He also worked part time as a diver for a water salvage and recovery company.

Arden returned to band work after a thirty-five year hiatus and is now working with several big bands and jazz groups in the Atlanta area. His wife, Mary Faith, is a Registered Investment Advisor and a Certified Financial Planner. The Moser’s make their home in Roswell.
