Day One We fly from Atlanta to Baltimore and find our hotel. In the evening we visit the Inner
Harbor for dinner and the usual piano bar revelry. After returning
to our hotel, Dick and I gave Marilyn and Patty a bridge lesson.
Day Two Today we're off to the National
Aquarium and some of the harbor sights. At night we see the Orioles
vs. Tampa Bay at Orioles Park at Camden Yards--a fine baseball venue
indeed.
Day Three Today we tour the baseball park,
Babe Ruth's home and museum, and best of all, the B&O Railroad
Museum. Then back "home" for refreshments and some card playing.
We're off to McCormick & Schmick's for dinner. More bridge before
retiring, of course.
Day Four As a child, Marilyn was
traumatized by her parents' visiting Hershey, Pennsylvania, without
taking her along. We brought closure to this psychic wound by
motoring over to Hershey today and visiting Chocolate World.
This evening it was dinner at Wayne's Bar-B-Que followed by a return
to the usual piano bar for postprandial libations and singing.
More bridge.
Day Five We begin the day by visiting
the site we came here to see---Marilyn's childhood home. After
calming down, we revisited the Inner Harbor area for lunch, and then
we're off to the airport for our return flight to Atlanta.
